Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Salesforce Lead Developer to shape and deliver scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform. In this role, you will architect robust applications using Apex and Lightning Web Components, lead development lifecycles, and ensure seamless integration with external systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in enterprise Salesforce environments, expertise in best practices, and excellent communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong track record of delivering Salesforce solutions in complex, enterprise environments.

We are partnered with a business who are looking for a Salesforce Lead Developer, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering scalable, high-impact solutions on the Salesforce platform.

What you’ll be doing

• Architect and deliver robust Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and modern integration approaches
• Turn business requirements into scalable, well-structured technical designs aligned with Salesforce best practices
• Lead the full development lifecycle — from initial build through testing, deployment, and ongoing optimisation
• Design, build, and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware
• Drive performance, security, and data integrity improvements across the platform
• Act as a technical leader within the team, providing mentorship, guidance, and code reviews
• Work closely with Salesforce Administrators to ensure seamless alignment between configuration and custom development
• Contribute to release processes, CI/CD pipelines, and environment strategy
• Stay ahead of platform updates and bring new ideas, tools, and innovations into the team
• Troubleshoot complex issues and act as an escalation point for critical incidents and enhancements

About you

• Strong track record of delivering Salesforce solutions in complex, enterprise environments

• Strong grasp of data modelling, platform security, and governor limits
