Job summary

You will work closely with Sales and Engineering teams to own the sales process from enquiry through to contract handover.

Qualifications

• Experienced and commercially minded Sales Engineer to develop customer relationships and win new business.
• Ability to estimate and prepare tenders and ensure proposals are technically compliant and commercially sound.
• CAD skills (AutoCAD) helpful to support drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Own the sales process from enquiry to contract handover and beyond.
• Evaluate and prepare tenders and estimates with internal/external teams.
• Build strong relationships with customers from enquiry through order and delivery.
• Prepare estimates/tenders in line with engineering standards and product requirements.
• Ensure compliance with commercial and credit-control procedures at order stage.
• Create contract folders for handover to Engineering and participate in handover meetings.
• Maintain regular customer contact through enquiry and post-order stages.
• Collaborate with Engineering to meet build specifications and site works.
• Assist with commercial assessment and management of contract cost variations.
• Assess new products, suppliers, and techniques to improve offerings.
• Attend internal and external meetings with customers and on project sites.
• Support CAD-related drawing work for General Arrangement and power schematics as needed.
