Heron Foods in Bury is seeking a Senior Part-Time Sales Assistant to lead on the shop floor, delivering exceptional customer service and motivating the team to achieve great results during 16 hours per week. You’ll help with stock, deliveries and store presentation.

As a keyholder, you’ll support opening and closing routines and step into a supervisory role when needed, including handling queries and maintaining a welcoming, well-organised store environment for customers and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in retail or hospitality.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience maintaining store presentation and stock levels.
• Experience as a keyholder or supervisory role.

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Part-Time Sales Assistant, you'll take on a key leadership role to keep the store running smoothly and successfully. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and motivating the team to deliver exceptional results.
• Ensuring high standards of customer service and resolving queries effectively.
• Maintaining an impeccable store presentation with well-stocked and tidy shelves.
• Assisting with stock management and overseeing deliveries.
• Acting as a keyholder and taking responsibility for the store in the absence of management (including store openings and closes).
