Senior Sales Assistant - Straiton

You will be given various shifts, which will change week to week and will include weekends (when rostered on), between 5 am and 5:45 pm, any 5 days out of 7.

This role is for 30 hours per week, with potential for additional hours.

£12.79 per hour plus an excellent benefits package (see below).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve customers with a range of hot and cold bakery and food-to-go products.
• Set up and maintain counter and window displays following our guidelines.
• Handle customer pre-orders, payments, and paperwork accurately.
• Process payments using electronic tills, cash, and card.
• Stock shelves with products.
• Answer customer queries and provide product advice and guidance.
• Report discrepancies and issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop and facilities.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in food retailing or Food to Go.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A positive attitude and resilience.
• Cash handling experience and familiarity with touch screen tills (training provided).
• Flexibility to work between Monday and Sunday, any 5 days from 7. Please only apply if you can commit to this schedule.
