Due to the continued success and expansion of our business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Sales Assistant at East Grinstead Branch

The Role We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. As a Senior Sales Assistant, you will also mentor junior staff and assist in the daily operations of the store.

The Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored product recommendations.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products and services to effectively assist customers and answer queries.
Achieve sales targets through proactive selling techniques and by fostering strong customer relationships.
Assist in training and mentoring new team members to ensure high standards of service are maintained.
Manage inventory levels, including restocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Participate in visual merchandising efforts to enhance the store's appearance and promote featured products.
Collaborate with management on promotional activities and store events to drive footfall.

Experience
Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is essential.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues alike.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in mentoring or training staff is advantageous but not mandatory.

Week 1: Monday to Friday 7:30 -17:00
Week 2: Monday to Friday 07:30-17:00 Saturday 08:00-12:00
