Job summary

MarketAxess in London is seeking a Senior Sales Analyst to support the Sales organization with advanced analytics, client‑facing materials, and commercial enablement.

You will translate complex data into insights to drive client engagement, platform adoption and revenue growth, collaborating with Sales, Product and clients. Candidates with at least 1 year of relevant experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a commercial mindset will fit well in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of experience in an analytical, sales support or client-facing role.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, ideally with fixed income exposure.
• Experience using data to generate insights for business decisions.
• Degree in a relevant discipline (2:1 or equivalent).
• Excellent analytical ability with attention to detail.
• Able to present data clearly for internal and external audiences.
• Confident written and verbal communication.
• Proactive and able to own deliverables.
• Strong organisational skills and multi-tasking ability.
• Collaborative mindset with cross-team relationship-building.
• Commercial focus with interest in sales and client engagement.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality analysis of client activity, market trends and platform performance to support sales strategy.
• Produce client-ready materials, including presentations and data-driven insights for pitches.
• Partner with Sales to prepare for meetings, demos and follow-ups.
• Contribute to initiatives to increase platform adoption and product usage.
• Translate data into clear, actionable insights for internal and external audiences.
• Support tracking and reporting of sales KPIs and metrics.
• Identify efficiency improvements within the sales function.
