Job summary
MCS Group is seeking a Senior Safety & Training Engineer to join the Northern Ireland energy sector, focusing on training, competence, and safety within the Control Centre Operations.
You will develop and deliver operational training, support certification programmes, and drive safety improvements across processes and procedures. Hybrid work arrangement offered, with strong progression opportunities.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, or HNC/HND with relevant industry experience.
- Understanding of safe, secure, reliable, and economic power system operation.
- Minimum of four years' engineering or industry experience.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timescales.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement, able to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver operational training for Control Centre Operations.
- Support competence and certification programmes.
- Contribute to ongoing safety, process, and procedure improvements across Control Centre operations.
