Qualifications

• Significant Health & Safety leadership experience within a high-risk environment.
• Experience leading assurance, governance or safety improvement frameworks on major projects.
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation, management systems and risk-based assurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Alliance Assurance Framework implementation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure assurance activities align to principal programme risks and priorities.
• Drive Health, Safety & Wellbeing Improvement Plan monitoring.
• Provide strategic oversight of Principal Contractor safety assurance arrangements.
• Lead Integrated Assurance Reviews and drive improvements.
• Analyse safety performance trends and identify intervention needs.
• Deliver assurance intelligence and reporting to senior governance forums.
• Promote learning, continuous improvement and best practice sharing.
• Act as deputy to the Health, Safety & Environment Director when required.
