Job summary

Turner Court is a brand-new primary school in Bristol joining Witherslack Group. We are recruiting a Designated Safeguarding Lead to oversee safeguarding across the school, coordinate with agencies, and support wellbeing and protection for pupils.

You will be part of the leadership team, collaborating with colleagues across WG locations to develop skills and ensure every pupil has an outstanding educational experience in an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Comprehensive CPD portfolio related to safeguarding and child protection.
• Outstanding interpersonal and problem-resolution skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead safeguarding within the school; liaise with statutory and non-statutory agencies, parents and staff on wellbeing and child protection.
• Provide support, advice and expertise in safeguarding to the leadership team and frontline staff.
• Collaborate with other WG teams and locations to progress staff development and best practices.
