Job summary

IEG is recruiting for a Safeguarding & Student Compliance Lead to join the Student Wellbeing Services team across Peterborough College and Stamford College. The role focuses on safeguarding compliance, case management support, and maintaining high safeguarding standards at both campuses.

The post holder will work with the Head of Student Wellbeing and Engagement to implement audits, coordinate QA processes, and collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure timely support

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people and/or vulnerable adults.
• Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and guidance, including KCSIE and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills.
• Experience managing data, reports and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Leading safeguarding audits, compliance reviews and quality assurance activities.
• Monitoring safeguarding data and producing reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Supporting the management of safeguarding disclosures, referrals and Early Help interventions.
• Maintaining accurate and compliant safeguarding records and systems.
• Working with external agencies and safeguarding partners to support vulnerable students.
• Supporting staff training and promoting best practice in safeguarding and student welfare.
