Keyrock in London and globally distributed hubs is seeking a Senior Rust Engineer focused on trading systems in our Capital Markets division. You will own critical components from architecture through production, collaborating with quants and traders to push performance and reliability in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Ideal candidates bring production Rust experience, familiarity with FIX and market data feeds, and strong AWS/Linux skills.

Qualifications

• Production-grade Rust experience building high-performance systems.
• Experience in systematic trading environments (HFT, market making) preferred.
• Strong AWS and Linux expertise for latency-sensitive workloads.
• Familiarity with trading protocols like FIX, REST, and WebSocket.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise low-latency, mission-critical trading systems.
• Own key trading stack components end-to-end—from architecture to production.
• Collaborate with quants, traders, and engineers to improve performance and resilience.
• Maintain trading infrastructure focusing on performance, stability, observability, and operability.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across connectivity, execution, and data feeds.
