Are you a software engineer who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and building high-performance systems?

Opus has partnered with an innovative technology business developing cutting-edge autonomous and sensor-driven platforms. They're looking for a Core Developer with strong Rust and/or C++ experience to help build the software that powers real-time control systems, distributed networks, and advanced sensor technologies.

You'll be joining a highly skilled engineering team, working on low-latency, mission-critical systems where performance, reliability, and scalability are key. The role offers the opportunity to work across system architecture, backend development, communication protocols, and real-time data processing.

They're looking for engineers with experience building high-performance applications in Rust and/or modern C++, alongside a strong understanding of distributed systems, networking, concurrency, and scalable software design.

Experience in areas such as robotics, autonomous systems, drones, embedded software, sensor integration, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
