Job summary

Certo Aerospace in Frome is seeking a Senior Rotor Systems CAE Engineer to own rotor-head development from concept to flight testing. You will lead CAE methods, perform FEA and rotor-dynamics analyses, and collaborate with design, manufacturing and suppliers to drive the lifecycle from concept through physical validation.

The role demands hands-on CAD/CAE work and the ability to translate analysis into practical, testable designs for a genuine aircraft project.

Qualifications

• Significant rotorcraft or complex mechanical systems experience.
• Proven experience analysing/developing rotor head control assemblies.
• Advanced structural FEA / CAE capability.
• Strong understanding of loads, structural dynamics and fatigue.
• Experience correlating simulation with physical testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead rotor-head development from concept through analysis, test and validation.
• Work with Design, Manufacturing, Test and external suppliers across the lifecycle.
• Mentor other engineers and lead technical decisions.
