Certo Aerospace in Frome is seeking a Senior Rotor Systems CAE Engineer to own rotor-head development from concept to flight testing. You will lead CAE methods, perform FEA and rotor-dynamics analyses, and collaborate with design, manufacturing and suppliers to drive the lifecycle from concept through physical validation.
The role demands hands-on CAD/CAE work and the ability to translate analysis into practical, testable designs for a genuine aircraft project.
Senior Rotor Systems CAE Engineer£55,000–£65,000 DOE | Frome, Somerset | 9-Day Fortnight

The MissionYou’ll lead rotor-head development from concept through analysis, test and validation, including: Structural FEA, Rotor Dynamics, DVP, Physical Testing, Development of CAE methods etc.
You’ll work directly with Design, Manufacturing, Test and external suppliers, giving you genuine influence over the complete engineering lifecycle.
Experience with rotorcraft transmissions, aeroelasticity, multibody dynamics, MATLAB/Python, test rigs or airworthiness/certification would be particularly valuable.
Why Certo? This is an opportunity to move beyond contributing to a subsystem and take ownership of one.
