National Highways is recruiting for a Senior Service Delivery Manager (HADECs) within the Digital Operational Services team. The role leads roadside technology services delivery, focusing on speed enforcement, incident and problem management, and continuous service improvement across the National Highways network.

The post is hybrid with two days in the office weekly and can be based at any National Highways location in the UK, with some travel for team meetings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, OT, IT or related discipline; ITIL qualification preferred.
• Significant experience managing complex, business-critical IT or OT services in a large-scale environment.
• Experience managing technology services that support operational decision-making or safety-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of incident, problem, event and service performance management.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for the operational performance of roadside technology types, primarily Speed Enforcement (HADECs).
• Analyze performance, control risks and direct resources to improve service and deliver continuous improvement.
• Lead fault, event and problem management for the service.
• Collaborate with service design and procurement to feed lessons learned into the asset life cycle.
• Improve performance through strong relationships with end-users, suppliers, installers, asset managers and maintainers.
• Oversee service management and robust financial management of contracts, monitoring, reporting and fault/event management.
