Job summary

WSP in Scotland is seeking a Senior Engineer to Associate in the Roads team to support feasibility, design and construction phases of highway projects.

You will work within the Performance Audit Group (PAG) on winter maintenance contracts, advising on technical standards, regulatory compliance and contract development.

This role offers an opportunity to influence delivery across Scotland with hybrid working, professional growth, and Chartership support inside a global engineering firm.

Qualifications

• Chartered professional relevant to role.
• Experience with technical specifications, standards and legislation for winter maintenance works.
• Experience and knowledge of contract development.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyse and advise on technical specifications and standards for winter maintenance contracts.
• Advise on regulatory compliance and best practice in contracts for winter maintenance operations.
• Understand and interpret relevant parts of Supplier contracts.
• Produce reports on delivery and effectiveness of suppliers' works and services.
