WSP in the UK & Ireland is looking for an Assistant Road Engineer to support the Roads team in Scotland. This role involves assisting with inspections, audits, and monitoring of road projects, ensuring compliance with Supplier contracts.

The position offers a hybrid working policy, allowing for home working two days a week. Candidates should have HNC/HND qualifications and basic experience in road management.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND and limited experience.
• Basic experience with structured training.
• Experience inspecting, monitoring, and reporting on Supplier compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspections and audits of road asset inventory.
• Verify Supplier records and confirm works compliance with specifications.
• Contribute to reports for the Employer.
