Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for Birchmere House Care Home in Knowle, Solihull. You will act as person in charge when needed and ensure high standards of care for residents while supporting a warm, caring team.

You will undertake tasks including medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and chronic condition management, with families and GPs kept informed of changes in care plans. A DBS check is required and eligibility to work in the UK must be demonstrated.

Qualifications

• First Level qualification and current NMC Registration are required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in care settings or nurses’ roles.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to instruct and support carers.

Responsibilities

• Act as person in charge when required and support the Manager.
• Administer medications, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and chronic condition management.
• Communicate changes in residents’ conditions to families and GPs.
• Supervise care staff and ensure duties are completed during duty periods.
