Job summary

CYGNET Delfryn House in North Wales is opening a new Low Secure service for women in early 2027. We are seeking a confident, compassionate Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or RNLD to join our team and lead an allocated group of nurses and support workers.

You will oversee care planning, medication management, audits and quality improvement, working with the management team to implement patient-centred care and promote wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Charge Nurse.
• Current NMC PIN and knowledge of Mental Health Act 1983.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Ability to manage workloads and supervise staff.
• Commitment to patient recovery and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead an allocated team of nurses & support workers.
• Supervise junior staff and guide them with mentoring.
• Develop the service, audit and improve quality.
• Manage medication and ensure safe administration.
• Coordinate and evaluate individual patient programmes of care with the team and families.
• Maintain care plans under NMC guidelines and in collaboration with service users.
