Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 8a Matron for the North Inpatient Wards and leadership roles across Acute Inpatients and Urgent Care. We seek experienced RMNs to provide clinical and operational leadership in a fast-paced environment.

The post holder will influence service development, governance and quality improvements, supporting ward teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Mental Health Nurse with leadership experience.
• Proven track record in clinical leadership at Band 7 or 8a.
• Ability to support service development and governance.
• Experience delivering patient-centred care in acute settings.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to strategic plans within acute and urgent care.
• Manage resources and delegated budget for care delivery.
• Maintain service quality with risk management processes.
• Develop and monitor quality standards across the Trust.
• Support service improvement objectives aligned to Trust priorities.
• Ensure effective communication with service users, carers and MDT.
• Advise Team Managers on professional and practice issues.
• Maintain high visibility as a professional service leader.
• Lead achievement of KPIs for the service area (quality, governance, workforce, finances).
