Job summary

2MRW Group is seeking an experienced Risk Underwriter to assess credit risk, develop underwriting models, and implement policies to support sustainable growth. The role covers credit, performance, and fraud risks within our supply chain finance portfolio while enabling prudent risk management across markets.

The candidate will build automated underwriting parameters, review risk models, and monitor portfolio quality.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in financial services as a Credit Underwriter or Credit Analyst.
• Experience underwriting SMEs across multiple country jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of financial ratios and ability to analyse financial statements.
• Knowledge of multiple industries and geographies is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to collaborate across levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop underwriting principles and parameters for automated underwriting of part of the credit portfolio.
• Review and enhance underwriting principles through testing and feedback.
• Conduct country and industry research and create market trend summaries and reports.
• Monitor portfolio quality and initiate corrective actions to minimise losses.
• Stay informed on current and emerging risk trends in assigned geographies and industries.
