Job summary

Alfred H Knight seeks a Senior Risk Officer to join the Governance, Risk and Compliance team at its Prescot head office (Merseyside). The role is on-site three days per week with two days from home, supporting rapid international expansion while protecting colleagues and the company’s global reputation.

You will lead risk initiatives, mentor junior staff, and deliver robust risk reports to executives, using Power BI and standard frameworks to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing Enterprise Risk Management initiatives, facilitating risk assessments, and maintaining risk registers.
• Strong working knowledge of risk management best practices and frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to compile, deliver, and review clear risk reports to support executive decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead Enterprise Risk Management initiatives and risk registers.
• Facilitate risk assessments and reporting for executives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Head Office, Business Leads and Risk Managers.
• Develop and maintain data-driven risk insights using Power BI.
