Job summary

Arthur in Liverpool is seeking a Head of Risk to lead and develop its Group-wide risk and governance framework in a hybrid working arrangement. You will drive ERM, risk appetite, governance reporting, and resilience initiatives while reporting to senior leadership and engaging with the Board.

The role covers enterprise risk, regulatory risk, financial crime oversight, third-party risk, and risk systems development.

Qualifications

• Significant risk management experience within a regulated insurance or financial services environment.
• Experience operating at Head of Risk, Senior Risk Manager, Enterprise Risk Manager or similar level.
• Strong knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements and governance frameworks.
• Experience building, enhancing or embedding enterprise risk frameworks.
• Board and Executive Committee reporting experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Operational resilience and risk governance expertise.

A leading UK regulated financial services and insurance business is seeking a Head of Risk to lead and further develop its Group-wide risk and governance framework. This is a high-profile leadership role, offering direct exposure to Executive and Board-level stakeholders and the opportunity to shape risk strategy across a growing organisation.

The opportunity, reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of the risk management framework, embedding best practice risk governance and supporting the business in achieving its strategic objectives.
