Job summary

Alfred H Knight is seeking an experienced data-focused IT Business Analyst to join our Technology Delivery team at our Prescot head office. The role is hybrid (on-site 3 days, home 2 days) and involves aligning global BI/analytics initiatives across 50+ countries.

You will own end-to-end requirement journeys for data platforms, BI reporting, and data warehousing, collaborating with data engineers, BI developers, solution architects and SMEs.

Qualifications

• Proven BI, analytics, data warehouse or data platform project delivery experience.
• Excellent requirements gathering, KPIs, data definitions and reporting requirements.
• Ability to model end-to-end data flows and source-to-target mapping.
• Collaborates with data engineers, BI developers, solution architects and SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders to identify business opportunities and capture requirements.
• Translate needs into user stories, acceptance criteria and backlog refinement.
• Model business processes and data using BPMN/UML and perform gap analyses.
• Evaluate solutions with architects and development teams; write UAT scripts and lead testing.
• Support business leads in building business cases and feasibility studies.
