Job summary

Searchability in Defence & Technology Consulting is recruiting a Senior Risk Manager to drive governance for mission-critical programmes in Defence and National Security. The role combines governance, quantitative analysis and risk assurance within a hybrid setup, with site-based work in the South East/Hampshire region and flexible remote options.

You will lead full lifecycle project controls, mentor junior staff and foster best practices across delivery teams, while ensuring readiness for

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading risk management in complex projects in Defence/Aerospace/security.
• Deep knowledge of governance, assurance, cost/schedule integration and change management.
• Experience with enterprise risk platforms such as Predict! Risk Controller/Analyser.
• Pursuing or holding recognised risk certifications (APM/IRM/PMI-RMP/MoR).

Responsibilities

• Drive risk governance, tailor strategies, and embed framework improvements on major projects.
• Perform quantitative cost and schedule risk analyses to inform decisions.
• Advise project leaders and sponsors on contingency and delivery impacts.
• Lead and mentor junior risk practitioners across the team.
