Matchtech Group is seeking an experienced Risk Manager for a contract role in the UK, supporting the Electronics Division. The role focuses on implementing risk management governance and continuous improvement, with independent oversight to Integrated Project Teams.

Competenze

• Significant experience in project or programme risk management.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise and project risk management frameworks, standards and governance processes.
• Experience in project controls and financial control, linking risk exposure to performance and contingency.
• Highly numerate with experience in statistical and financial modelling, Monte Carlo techniques.
• Sound understanding of contingency setting and management in line with risk exposure and risk appetite.
• Ability to translate complex risk information into clear, concise insight.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage senior leaders.
• Ability to lead workshops and coach teams effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Degree in a technical, business or related subject, or an equivalent professional qualification.

• Apply the project risk management framework across the full lifecycle from bid to execution.
• Provide independent oversight and assurance against risk policies and standards.
• Support project teams in identifying, assessing and managing risks and opportunities.
• Advise on risk treatment, mitigation strategies and contingency setting.
• Analyse residual risk using quantitative methods to support forecasting.
• Prepare risk reports for governance forums and stakeholders.
• Facilitate risk workshops and provide expert guidance.
• Coach and mentor other Project Risk Managers.
