Qualifications

• Senior Manager-level compliance & risk experience in the 2nd Line of Defence.
• Experience translating regulatory expectations into practical controls.
• Proven ability to design robust, defensible and auditable controls.

Responsibilities

Up to £850 per day | Inside IR35 | London Hybrid | ASAP Start

Following several successful assignments with one of our consultancy partners, Birchlake Recruitment is supporting them with further interim requirements.

One of the most pressing is for an experienced Senior Risk Manager to support a FinTech client with the design and implementation of robust, defensible KYC/KYB controls.

Key requirements:

• Strong Risk & Controls experience within FCA-regulated Financial Services
• Senior Manager-level Compliance & Risk experience within the 2nd Line of Defence
• Experience of regulatory mapping, translating regulatory expectations into practical, effective controls
• Proven ability to design robust, defensible and auditable controls

The opportunity:

• Duration: Initially until the end of January 2027, with likely extension
• Location: London, hybrid working
• Start: ASAP – must be available within the next two weeks
