Senior Risk Lawyer

Our client, a top international law firm, is actively seeking an experienced Qualified Lawyerto join their Risk function in London on either a permanent or FTC basis – working as their new Senior Risk Lawyer.

The Risk & Compliance team ensure best practice across the entirety of the firm – managing all aspects of regulation. You’ll regularly liaise with key stakeholders, including Partners and Lawyers – building strong and effective relationships across the firm.

As the successful Senior Risk Lawyer, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

• Working closely with the current COLP and additional team members on regulatory matters (inc. reviews and general best practices)
• Preparing and delivering regulatory training when necessary
• Work closely with the wider Risk & Compliance team, advising on issues surrounding conflicts of interest
• Assessing the impact of regulatory changes
• Advising on general queries (legal advice, updating policies/procedures, etc)

To be considered for this opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:

• Be a Qualified Lawyer with extensive experience in Regulatory Compliance
• Have previous experience of working in a law firm environment
• Have experience using Intapp and ideally have an interest in Financial Crime
• Ideally, have experience leading a team and providing training
