Job summary

International Law Firm in London is seeking an experienced Risk & Regulatory Lawyer to join its in-house legal risk and compliance function. The role spans a broad range of regulatory and ethics matters across the firm, working with lawyers and business teams.

The successful candidate will advise on professional obligations, AML, sanctions, onboarding, conflicts and governance, contributing to regulatory projects and policy development.

Qualifications

• UK-qualified solicitor with strong experience in legal risk, regulatory obligations and professional standards.
• Experience with ethics/regulatory matters and governance is desirable.
• Background in in-house risk or related regulatory roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance across risk, regulatory and compliance matters for the firm.
• Advise on SRA Standards & Regulations, client onboarding, conflicts and confidentiality.
• Support policy development, procedures and internal governance projects.
• Collaborate with lawyers and business teams to manage regulatory risk and ethics.

This is a broad and varied role, working closely with lawyers and business teams across the firm on a range of legal risk, regulatory and compliance matters.

The Role

The Requirements

You will ideally be a UK-qualified solicitor with strong experience in a legal risk, regulatory, professional support or related role.
