Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a senior governance and risk professional to lead on risk management, incident reporting and patient safety across the division. The post holder will work with clinical teams, governance and quality groups to implement robust systems and processes that ensure high-quality, safe and effective patient care.

The role supports the Assistant Director of Governance and Compliance, including deputising as required, and contributes to the transformation

• Oversees risk and governance activities to protect patient safety and service delivery.
• Supports deputy/leadership teams in risk management across the division.
• Coordinates with clinical and governance groups to maintain robust governance processes.
