Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced senior leader to serve as Director of Patient Safety and Quality Governance. You will drive patient safety, PSIRF, quality governance, regulatory assurance, risk management, and learning across the organisation.

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, you will provide expert advice to the Board and Executive Team, lead on safe practice, and foster a just learning culture.

Competenze

• Master’s degree or equivalent leadership experience in complex healthcare environments.
• Registration with a UK statutory regulator (NMC, GMC, HCPC, GPhC or equivalent).
• Demonstrated ongoing professional development and leadership experience.

Mansioni

• Provide strategic leadership for patient safety, quality governance and assurance across the Trust.
• Lead regulatory readiness and external engagement with regulators and partners.
• Develop and maintain learning from incidents, mortality reviews and safeguarding across the organisation.
• Deputise for the Chief Nursing Officer and contribute to on-call rotations.
