AJ FOX COMPLIANCE in London is seeking a Senior Risk & Compliance Manager on a six-month fixed-term contract to lead priority strategic projects and provide senior-level support across the risk function.

You will work closely with the Director of Risk & Compliance to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls and help establish overseas capability while adapting to shifting business priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead strategic projects from scoping and planning through implementation, embedding and handover.
• Agree priorities, deliverables and resources with the Director of Risk & Compliance.
• Coordinate stakeholders across the business and with external advisers.
• Identify regulatory, governance and licensing requirements and translate into practical controls.
• Track risks, dependencies and actions; escalate material issues.
• Provide concise progress updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Support establishment of overseas capability, including governance and operational requirements.
• Map international risk and compliance framework with reporting lines and escalation routes.
• Develop roadmaps and templates for establishing future overseas entities.
• Collaborate with experts on cross-border arrangements, data governance, AML, sanctions, information security and insurance.
• Review lessons learned and suggest improvements for consistency and scalability.
• Adapt to changing business needs and support other strategic projects.

We are working with a specialist professional services firm to appoint a Senior Risk & Compliance Manager on a six-month fixed-term contract in London. Working closely with the Director of Risk & Compliance, you’ll lead priority strategic projects, initially focused on international operations, while providing senior-level support across the wider function as business priorities evolve.

You’ll bring significant senior-level experience in risk, compliance, legal or governance within a regulated professional services environment, alongside a track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects. Strong project leadership, stakeholder management, judgement and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to turn complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

The responsibilities will include:

• Lead strategic projects from initial scoping and planning through implementation, embedding and handover.
• Agree priorities, deliverables, responsibilities, milestones and resources with the Director of Risk & Compliance.
• Coordinate stakeholders across the business and work with external advisers.
• Identify legal, regulatory, operational and governance requirements, translating them into practical controls, processes and documentation.
• Track project risks, dependencies, decisions and actions, escalating material issues where appropriate.
• Provide concise progress updates, advice and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Support the establishment of current overseas capability, including regulatory, licensing, governance and operational requirements.
• Map and document the international risk and compliance framework, covering responsibilities, reporting lines, escalation routes and minimum standards.
• Develop a proportionate, repeatable roadmap, with practical templates and tools, for establishing and overseeing future overseas entities.
• Work with subject matter experts on areas including cross-border arrangements, client engagement, data governance, anti-money laundering, sanctions, information security and insurance.
• Review lessons learned and recommend improvements to strengthen the consistency and scalability of international arrangements.
• Adapt to changing business needs, leading or supporting other strategic projects and providing senior-level advice across the wider Risk & Compliance function.
