Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial risk, especially capital, investment and liquidity risk.
• Experience applying risk management frameworks and methodologies.
• Understanding of financial markets and asset classes for insurers.
• Ability to advise technical specialists and influence stakeholders.
• Experience leading cross-team initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess capital, investment and liquidity risks.
• Challenge financial risk management and suggest improvements.
• Provide risk insights and formal opinions on strategic finance initiatives.
• Support risk-based syndicate oversight.
• Monitor emerging risks and lead thematic reviews.
• Assist validation of Lloyd's Internal Model and Investment Risk Model.
• Improve Risk Management data analytics and processes.
• Contribute to ORSA, stress testing, regulatory submissions and risk reporting.
• Present analysis to senior management and Risk Committee.
• Foster relationships across Treasury, Investment Management and Central Finance.
• Lead or support cross-team projects.
• Manage one direct report and mentor them.
