Job description

We have partnered with a leading general insurance provider to recruit a Senior Risk Analyst to join their dynamic and growing Governance, Risk & Compliance team in London. This is a pivotal second-line role reporting into both the Head of Enterprise Risk Management and the Head of Financial Risk Management, with a particular focus on strengthening operational risk oversight across the UK and European operations. Key responsibilities include but are not limited too:

• Leading the facilitation and continuous enhancement of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) programme across business units.

• Providing robust challenges to the business risk and control registers, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and value to senior stakeholders.

• Collaborating with Compliance and Internal Audit to design and maintain a testing programme validating the effectiveness of key controls and the accuracy of RCSA attestations

• Overseeing the risk event process, ensuring timely analysis, categorisation, and root cause investigation of incidents. Track remediation and ensure appropriate actions are implemented.
