Job summary

IC Resources in Central London is seeking a Senior RF Antenna Engineer to turn antenna designs into working hardware for communications and radar systems. The role offers hybrid working and exposure from simulation through to product release, providing practical experience across both design and laboratory development.

You will design and optimise antenna arrays, feeds and printed RF structures using CST or HFSS, assemble prototypes, and measure performance with VNAs.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree or equivalent in electronic engineering, RF, physics or electromagnetics.
• Experience designing, simulating and experimentally evaluating antennas or antenna arrays.
• Familiarity with RF measurements and analysis tools such as MATLAB or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimise antenna arrays, feeds and printed RF structures using CST Microwave Studio, HFSS or equivalent tools.
• Assemble prototypes, measure their performance using VNAs and antenna measurement equipment, and investigate differences between simulated and measured results.
• Work with systems, hardware, mechanical and software colleagues to support subsystem integration, verification and design improvements.
• Contribute to engineering reviews and help improve simulation workflows, measurement methods and product robustness.
