Intellectual Capital Resources Ltd is seeking a Senior RF Antenna Engineer in Central London. You will design and optimise antenna elements for communications and radar systems, with hands-on lab work and collaboration across design, simulation and testing teams.

The role offers hybrid working and involvement from simulation through to product release. You will use CST Microwave Studio or HFSS, assemble prototypes, measure performance with VNAs, and help improve simulation workflows and product

Qualifications

• A relevant master's degree or equivalent in electronic engineering, RF, physics or electromagnetics.
• Experience designing, simulating and experimentally evaluating antennas or antenna arrays.
• Familiarity with RF measurements and analysis tools such as MATLAB or Python.

Our client is looking for a Senior RF Antenna Engineer to join its engineering team in Central London, helping turn antenna designs into working hardware for communications and radar systems. With hybrid working and involvement from simulation through to product release, this role offers an engineer early in their career practical experience across both design and laboratory development.

Our client develops beam-steering antenna systems, with engineering challenges around RF performance, power consumption, weight and practical integration. As its technology moves from advanced prototypes towards deployable products, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers to develop antennas that perform beyond the simulation environment.

As a Senior RF Antenna Engineer, you’ll design and optimise antenna arrays, feeds and printed RF structures using CST Microwave Studio, HFSS or equivalent tools. You’ll help assemble prototypes, measure their performance using VNAs and antenna measurement equipment, and investigate differences between simulated and measured results.

Working with systems, hardware, mechanical and software colleagues, you’ll support subsystem integration, verification and design improvements. You’ll also contribute to engineering reviews and help improve simulation workflows, measurement methods and product robustness.

Our client is looking for:

• A relevant master's degree or equivalent in electronic engineering, RF, physics or electromagnetics
• Experience designing, simulating and experimentally evaluating antennas or antenna arrays
• Familiarity with RF measurements and analysis tools such as MATLAB or Python

Experience with printed antennas, feed networks or beam-steering systems would be useful. The main attraction is the breadth of practical engineering: developing a design, understanding its measured behaviour and contributing to its integration into a complete product, with support from experienced colleagues.
