Job summary

Build Recruitment is partnering with a rapidly growing Cornwall-based business to appoint a Senior Revit Technician in MEP/Building Services. The role offers ownership of complex projects, BIM delivery, and mentoring within a diverse portfolio spanning healthcare, infrastructure, nuclear, rail, industrial, commercial and residential sectors.

You will lead Revit models from setup to completion, coordinate with engineers/clients, develop BIM content, and help shape digital engineering standards

Qualifications

• Strong experience using Autodesk Revit within MEP/Building Services.
• Experience coordinating with multiple disciplines.
• Understanding of construction methods and Building Regulations.
• Ability to mentor others and lead project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex MEP Revit models from setup to delivery.
• Produce and review high-quality drawings and documentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary models and resolve clashes.
• Support and lead BIM coordination meetings.
• Mentor junior/intermediate technicians.
• Ensure ISO 19650, BIM, and client standards are met.
• Develop Revit families, templates and content libraries.
• Improve BIM processes, workflows and standards across the business.

Build Recruitment is working with a rapidly growing business that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Revit Technician to join its expanding Digital Engineering team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced MEP / Building Services Revit professional who wants more than just producing drawings. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of complex projects, play a key role in BIM delivery, mentor junior team members and help shape the way the business continues to develop its digital engineering capabilities.

You’ll work across an exciting and varied project portfolio spanning healthcare, infrastructure, nuclear, rail, industrial, commercial and residential, giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience and work on technically challenging projects.

The Role

You’ll take a lead role in the delivery of complex Revit models, from initial project set‑up through to completion, while working closely with engineers, consultants, contractors and clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading complex MEP Revit models from set‑up through to final delivery.
• Producing and reviewing high‑quality technical drawings and documentation.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary models and resolving clashes/issues.
• Supporting and leading BIM coordination meetings.
• Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior and intermediate technicians.
• Ensuring projects meet ISO 19650, BIM and client standards.
• Developing Revit families, templates and content libraries.
• Helping improve BIM processes, workflows and technical standards across the business.

What We’re Looking For

We’re keen to speak with experienced Senior Revit Technicians / BIM Technicians from an MEP or Building Services background who are looking for their next challenge.

You’ll ideally have:

• Strong, proven experience using Autodesk Revit within MEP / Building Services.
• Experience managing complex models and producing high‑quality technical output.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and Building Regulations.
• Experience coordinating with multiple disciplines.
• The confidence to mentor others and take ownership of project delivery.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients and consultants.
• Experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360/CDE would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM processes.
• The ability to obtain relevant security clearance where required.
