We are looking to recruit a Senior Retrofit Energy Assessor/Retrofit Manager to join our Planned Hub, working on the Longhurst Decarbonisation team located from our office in Peterborough, PE3 9TP.

About The Role

Working to deliver the highest standards of service, you'll be responsible for managing, coaching, and developing the team, maximising not only individual but our team's potential. Reporting to the Decarbonisation Manager, you'll provide assistance in positively impacting the communities we work in, both during the life of the project and by helping to leave behind a sustainable legacy when the project ends. You will also provide key information about resident satisfaction and audit results on a regular basis.

Responsibilities include overseeing a range of PAS 2030/2035 retrofit schemes (External Wall Insulation, Cavity Wall Insulation, Internal Wall Insulation, Windows, Loft Insulation, Air source heat pumps), conducting retrofit assessments, air tightness testing, EPC, and modelling to aid project delivery. You will have two direct reports. Additionally, you'll be the Decarbonisation Division's main point of contact, ensuring PAS compliance and quality assurance of external PAS consultants reviewing design specifications. You will work closely with Contracts Managers to oversee contracts from start to finish, including the preparation of the PAS2030/35 Plan. Adherence to company HSEQ policies and standards is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and management of PAS 2030/35 compliance
• Providing project direction, compliance focus, and consistency across multiple schemes
• Undertaking retrofit assessments, EPC, Borescope surveys, and air tightness tests
• Conducting site visits to inspect works and complete relevant checks
• Managing supply chain compliance strategies for each project
• Preparing and overseeing PAS2030/35 & MCS audits
• Ensuring systems are in place and works meet company standards, behaviors, and values
• Assessing building fabric, completing/interpreting EPC ratings, and recommending retrofit methods for improvement

About You

Candidates should have excellent customer service experience, ideally within social housing, with the ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships. Strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and IT literacy are essential. You must hold Retrofit Assessor, Coordinator, and testing qualifications, with at least 1 year of experience as a Retrofit Coordinator.
