Job summary

Brewers Decorator Centre in the London region is seeking a friendly, reliable Senior Retail Sales Advisor to provide roaming support across multiple branches. You will step in to assist Branch Managers, assume senior responsibilities, and help drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role covers 40 hours per week over five days, Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota, and travel between branches.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, ideally in a team leader or supervisory role
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Flexibility and willingness to travel between branches in the London area
• Approachable and friendly personality, able to motivate colleagues
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
• Willingness to attend training to become a Fire Marshall and/or First Aider if required

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Managers by stepping in during their absence or when extra support is needed
• Provide exceptional service to customers in branch, supporting our reputation for quality Brewers service
• Handle keyholder responsibilities, cashing up and supervisory tasks
• Allocate work to the team and keep them motivated
• Provide recommendations to help customers find the best product for their needs
• Support planning and agreeing sales forecasts in line with company targets
• Ensure orders and enquiries are dealt with and followed up promptly
• Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders, and request stock within the branch network
• Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and deliver comprehensive service
• Promote seasonal and special items and merchandise to increase visibility and sales
• Assist with stock maintenance in the branch

As a roaming Senior Retail Sales Advisor, you’ll provide crucial support across the London region by stepping in to assist Branch Managers by taking on Senior responsibilities, supporting teams, and driving sales. Standard Branch opening hours are 5:30am - 5pm but this does vary in some locations.

The majority of our London stores have a local tube/train/bus station in local proximity so travel won’t be an issue.

As a Senior Retail Sales Advisor with Brewers, some responsibilities will include:

• Flexibility and willingness to travel between different branches in the London area as required.

• Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can be relied upon to work as an individual at all times
• Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry
• Willing to attend training to become a Fire Marshall and/or First Aider if required
• Ideally lives within a close proximity to the store to be able to respond to potential alarm calls out of hours
