Job summary

AXA Health is expanding its pricing capability as part of a major pricing transformation programme. The Senior Retail Pricing Analyst will focus on developing and refining pricing models for the Individual PMI and non-PMI portfolios, balancing volume and value.

The role involves working with Radar, implementing new pricing software, and collaborating with Data & Systems, Governance, and Analytics teams to deliver robust, compliant pricing strategies across the UK market.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of retail pricing data and modelling techniques, including GLMs and machine learning.
• Experience with price optimisation and other actuarial techniques including reserving and P&L dynamics.
• Higher education in mathematics or statistics; ideally studying towards actuarial qualification.
• Understanding of the regulatory environment and dynamics of large organisations.

Responsibilities

• Build behavioural, demand, and market premium models in Radar that are robust and regulation-compliant.
• Deliver model performance monitoring and agile rating changes; maintain Radar LTV models with robust assumptions.
• Deliver and refine Radar optimisation and rating models to balance volume and value using insight-led actions.
• Provide pricing recommendations for legacy Individual PMI and non-PMI portfolios before migration.
• Support Portfolio Management with evaluation of new deals, offers and tests ensuring fair pricing policy.
• Ensure modelling and performance data are robust; liaise with Data & Systems for improvements.
• Coach and mentor junior Pricing Analysts and review their models.
• Build effective relationships with Pricing teams, Distribution, Propositions, Finance, and Compliance.
