Job summary

URBN UK Limited, part of URBN Group, is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to support our UK retail population. You will report to the Senior HR Manager and work with the recruitment and L&D teams to build strong relationships with store colleagues across the UK.

The ideal candidate will have proven HR advisory experience in retail, solid knowledge of UK employment law, and a resilient, results‑driven mindset. This role focuses on ER, learning and development, reward, and engagement across URBN brands.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a HR Advisory role, ideally within retail.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Ability to build strong, credible relationships quickly at all levels.
• Creative, commercial mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Great team player with strong communication skills.
• Excellent MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact for all retail HR-related queries.
• Monitor, review and update HR policies to reflect commercial needs.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment law and update as needed.
• Prepare and issue ER correspondence and guidance to store management.
• Support store management on long-term absence cases, redundancies and restructurings.
• Coordinate learning initiatives with the L&D team and onboarding for new stores.
• Support performance management cycles and development planning.
• Lead engagement and rewards initiatives and wellbeing programs.
• Assist with exit interviews and HR KPI reporting.
• Ensure sponsor license compliance and right-to-work processes.
