Job summary

URBN UK Limited is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to partner with our UK retail teams across Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and Free People. You will build strong relationships with store management, ensure policy and legal compliance, and guide on complex employee relations matters.

You will also support learning initiatives, onboarding for new stores, performance management, wellbeing, rewards and engagement projects, working within the HR function to drive results.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a HR Advisory role, ideally in retail.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Ability to build strong, credible relationships quickly at all levels.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact for all retail HR-related queries.
• Monitor and update HR policies reflecting the commercial needs of the business.
• Ensure URBN is compliant with UK employment law and provide guidance to store management on ER issues.
• Support parental leave management across UK stores and manage long-term absence cases.
• Assist with potential redundancies and restructures under guidance.
• Deliver learning initiatives and coordinate store onboarding sessions across the UK.
• Support the performance management cycle and help develop talent and succession.
• Support wellbeing, rewards, and engagement initiatives for retail staff.
