Job summary

Arthur Rank Hospice Charity is seeking an inspiring Associate Director of Retail to lead growth across Cambridgeshire’s retail estate, including shops, e-commerce, and donated goods strategy. You will shape strategy, drive strong financial performance and ensure sustainable community impact.

You will manage a large multi-site operation, support paid staff and volunteers, travel across sites, and hold a valid driving license with access to a vehicle for work. The role offers flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Significant senior multi-site retail experience across locations.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of growth.
• Experience leading change and motivating teams.
• Charity retail experience welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the retail portfolio across Cambridgeshire.
• Lead growth of shops, e-commerce, and donated goods strategy.
• Support paid colleagues and volunteers to deliver strong customer experiences and financial performance.
• Oversee operations across multiple sites with regular travel (driving license required).
