Job summary

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant Respiratory Physician to lead specialist services across the NLAG region with a focus on EBUS, ILD, asthma, and other sub‑specialties. The post offers potential for Honorary Senior Lecturer status and ties with HYMS.

You will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, support advanced care practitioners training, and participate in academic activities with Hull York Medical School.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration at time of appointment.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Evidence of Respiratory Medicine training.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class clinical service.
• Lead junior doctors and medical students.
• Ensure practice adheres to Trust procedures and policies.
• Conduct clinical work within service plans and contractual requirements.
• Maintain evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.

Education

MBBS or equivalent medication qualification MRCP
