Job summary

M&G in Scotland seeks a Senior Resource Planning Manager to lead enterprise‑wide resource and capacity planning, ensuring capacity and deployment align with strategic objectives. You will shape planning assumptions, advise executive leadership, and partner with Finance, Commercial and Operations to deliver resilient service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading high‑performing planning teams.
• Experience in resource planning across contact centres, back office and complaints.
• Strong forecasting and planning principles; ability to build from scratch.
• Understanding of insurance products and FS industry.
• Experience with senior stakeholder management and third‑party partners.
• Ability to prioritise in a complex environment and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead long‑term resource and capacity planning strategy aligned to business goals.
• Oversee end‑to‑end planning cycle including supplier management and optimisation.
• Develop and maintain strategic resource plans across all service channels.
• Provide strategic insight on future resourcing needs and mitigation strategies.
• Governance across the planning lifecycle with clear controls.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Digital, Transformation, and Operations.
• Assess demand and capacity impacts from new products and regulatory changes.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning models and deployment across the enterprise.
• Oversee third‑party outsourcers and manage associated risks.
