Job summary

QinetiQ is seeking a Resource Manager to lead the dynamic allocation of resources across engineering disciplines on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will manage permanent staff, contractors and part‑time resources, working within a community of RM colleagues to deliver across disciplines.

The role focuses on maximizing productivity while safeguarding individual wellbeing, with accountability for demand, forecast, and recruitment considerations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience across a multifaceted team.
• Direct experience managing and allocating resources (perm, part-time, contractors).
• Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and mentor juniors.
• Experience working across disciplines to support business delivery.

Responsibilities

• Make tactical decisions on deploying discipline resources to meet work requests.
• Balance conflicting requirements and ensure timely delivery of work.
• Collaborate with demand/supply stakeholders and other RMs on complex solutions.
• Support discipline forecasting, demand highlighting, and routine project meetings.
