Job summary

9B Careers is seeking an experienced Technical Architect or Architectural Technician in London with a strong residential background. The role focuses on taking projects through technical stages, with potential design development involvement earlier on.

The candidate will develop residential projects through RIBA Stages 3 and 4 onwards, lead technical delivery, and coordinate detailed information with consultants and teams, including façade and interior elements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong residential project experience, preferably high-end.
• Experience developing detailed design for interiors from Stage 4 onward.
• Familiar with current design standards and regulations.
• Proficient in Revit and rendering/presentation software.

Responsibilities

• Develop residential projects through RIBA Stages 3 and 4 onwards.
• Lead the technical development and delivery of projects.
• Produce and coordinate detailed architectural information.
• Work closely with consultants and project teams.
• Develop technical solutions for complex residential projects.
• Contribute to façade and interior design where relevant.
• Support early-stage design development as required.
• Coordinate design information to ensure a high-quality technical outcome.
