Job summary

9B Careers is recruiting on behalf of an AJ100 London architectural practice for an Architectural Technician/Technologist with a strong residential background. The role focuses on technical stages and later design development, delivering high-quality technical outputs.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years PQE, extensive residential experience (ideally high-end) from Stage 4 onwards, proficient in Revit and rendering, and a strong communicator who can lead technical development and coordinate with

Qualifications

• 6+ years post-qualification experience
• Strong residential project experience, preferably high-end
• Experience from RIBA Stage 4 onwards and interior detail development
• Proven ability to lead technical development and coordinate with consultants
• Sound understanding of current design standards and regulations

9B Careers is working with an AJ100 architectural practice in London, looking for an experienced Architectural Technician/Technologistwith a strong residential background.

The role will focus on taking projects through the technical stages, with the opportunity to contribute to design development during the earlier stages where appropriate.

The Role

• Develop residential projects through RIBA Stages 3 and 4 onwards
• Lead the technical development and delivery of projects
• Produce and coordinate detailed architectural information
• Work closely with consultants and project teams
• Develop technical solutions for complex residential projects
• Contribute to façade and interior design where relevant
• Support early-stage design development where required
• Coordinate design information to ensure a high-quality technical outcome
  

About You

• 6+ years' post-qualification experience
• Strong experience working on residential projects
• Proven residential experience, preferably high-end residential, from Stage 4 onwards, ideally developing detailed design for interiors
• Higher Risk Building design experience preferred
• Strong presenter, good communicator and team player
• Sound understanding of current design standards and regulations
• Proficient in Revit, rendering and presentation software

£50,000–£55,000 depending on experience.
