Job summary

Assist Care Ltd in Coventry is seeking a Senior Residential Care Worker / Team Leader (EBD) to lead shifts and mentor the team in delivering trauma-informed care for children aged 7-17. The role offers hourly pay between £14.20 and £16.50 plus a £60 sleep-in allowance, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities include safeguarding, care planning, and daily routines, with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a residential childcare setting.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent).
• Commitment to Level 5 Diploma in Leadership (if not already held).
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed care and child development.
• Resilient, compassionate, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence – desirable.

About Us

Assist Care is a 2 bed Children's Home (EBD) in Coventry specialising in providing high-quality trauma-informed care to children and young people aged 7 - 17 with Emotional and/or Behavioural Difficulties in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.

Role: Senior Residential Support Worker / Team Leader - Children’s Home (EBD).

Salary: £14.20 - £16.50 per hour + £60 sleep-in. (dependent on experience/qualifications)
