Job summary

Sgscare is seeking a Senior Childcare Practitioner / Senior Residential Support Worker in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, to care for children aged 7 to 17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties.

The role offers a condensed shift pattern of 2 days on, 4 days off, with sleeps included. The salary is up to £37,600 per year, inclusive of sleeps, with opportunities for progression into Deputy Manager, Registered Manager, and Regional roles.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce Diploma (social care pathway).
• Level 3 Diploma in Adult Social Care may be considered where relevant children’s experience can be evidenced.
• Previous experience in Residential Children’s Services or a similar setting supporting young people with challenging behaviour is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Fluent English, including the ability to understand different UK dialects.
• Sponsorship is not available.

Working Pattern and Pay
